---

About 600 years have passed since humanity has reached the singularity. With exponential strides in technological development, the ills of the past gradually start to fade; medical advancement would soon follow, and the collection and distribution of resources also continues to accelerate at an alarming pace. With the imminent threat of overpopulation approaching, humanity initiates what is known as the EDEN Project. After several years of development, a lunar colony is developed, and the populace is ready to begin expanding and migrating to the utopian city of EDEN.

The citizens of EDEN continue to prosper, as everything has become idyllic and automated. Humanity has achieved perfection. Anything is possible; everybody has the freedom to do whatever they want. 500 more years have passed, but with enough time, even paradise gets boring. With stagnation on the rise, the populace grows weary. Communications with Earth slow down, and the numbers on EDEN start to steadily decrease. Where have people started to disappear to? Have the residents of EDEN been forgotten?

Wandering the streets of a massive vacated paradise, Eli Calvez lives out the rest of his days among the remaining denizens, finding solace in sleeping his days away; however, beset by a strange series of recurring dreams, Eli feels his sanity start to waver. Compelled to uncover the mysteries behind this collapsed utopia, the dwellers of EDEN find there is no rest in sleep.

I am really liking this FVN so far!

Hello!I'm coming to ask if I can translate your work into Chinese. It will not be used for commercial purposes.Just to share your fantastic work with more furry-loving people.I'm looking forward to getting a reply from you whether you permit it or not.PLEASE!ヽ(。・ω・。)ノ

yeah, go ahead ! there are some parts that might not translate very well because of how fonts are used to make the story a bit more interactive, but it'll still be fine either way.
thanks for the interest !

OK,I'm really glad you agree,thanks!

Early ŕating:

won't denied I become curious and hook on the story, it mysterious and quite  Aesthetic in the eye( and yes I'm wanna bite there belly :3). Music and the artstyle compliment each other. Overall 9.5/10 for me, reason for the .5 is that is still early on the story to really define the rating on it. Maybe when is complete that it change

Anyhow great story would recommend anyone for it. Keep up the good work 👏

every time I finish this I always  want to know what happens next!

Well now. Sorry for focusing on only a small thing, but you’ve come up with a *really* cool language in this VN! Explaining why would be a spoiler, so I won’t go into details, but I think what you’ve done here is very nice. And if you’re revealing it the way I think you are … well, that’s downright clever. Good work!

Pity that, as the say, “the void will consume all”.

Otherwise, I think you’ve got something quite interesting going here, both in the setting and in the vibe. I have a few hunches about what might be going on – I had a sudden flash of inspiration on the balcony scene – but I don’t have enough information to be really sure yet. I look forward to playing future builds, and seeing if I’m thinking along the right lines!

I had a blast reading this! I love horror themes that don't overuse jumpscares and loud sounds, and gotta say, you absolutely nailed it! Those certain unsettling scenes definitely managed to give me goosebumps.

The artwork, sound design and sprite effects, all those little details are perfect! I'll be on the lookout for future updates. Great work!

Just discovered this vn and goodness I reallllllyyyyy loved this. It scratches the sci fi cosmic horror itch I've been having and I've thoroughly enjoyed it a lot!!!!!! Looking forward to the next update

The latest update is everything I could have ever wanted and further cements my interest in this project. Can't say anything, it's best experienced blind. I can say that this is shaping up to be one of my favorite vns and we're only two builds deep~

(+4)

excuse me YOU CANT JUST DROP THAT AMAZING BOMBSHELL OF A CLIFFHANGER

i was so immersed and everything! like goddamn it was amazing! 15/10

Update?:(

(+6)

hey hey, thanks for your interest and patience!

don't worry, i'm still working away at the next update, progress has just slowed down a bit as i've been working on piecing together the story i wanna tell for future updates. most of the assets are completed now so hopefully the next update will be coming soon!

Even though what I read may not be the longest, it shows a lot of promise. The things done with ui and visuals? THe music? The prose of the narration? I am locked in and excited to see what the future holds for Edenbound

I must say that this is one of the most innovative vn I have seen, the theme feels very refreshing to look at, a science fiction story from which things have stopped having meaning, I have the feeling that very few histories take that of immorality as something bad, you can feel the loneliness in every damn text, something that I love a lot, also that (for now) the few moments of terror are very good, the erratic lines in the silhouettes give a very good feeling of chaos and danger , the characters feel very alive as they are not in the typical pose of looking straight ahead, the scenery despite being obscure they  have very good colors and the music is simply perfect for this setting, the story also stands out very well on its own, to Being only the prologue leaves a lot of intrigues, which I hope we'll see what is about, I loved this VN, I hope we'll see more soon :3

(1 edit)

Thanks for giving me the usual spider nightmares. This game is quite good at expressing loneliness of characters, naturally making you want to comfort them. I really hope there will be numerous meaningful choices, because i've always felt like horror games are lacking those (usually just 1-2 to determine ending and that's it).

Ok, am I the only one getting a warning from the antivirus saying the zip has a trojan virus?

Ok nevermind, I just unzipped the foulder and now it isn't appearing the warning

Yeah that's been happening with Furry VNs lately, it's almost-always a false positive.

Oh, I didnt know about that. Thank you for informing me and possibly other people.

Overall, this is a very solid start for an FVN. The writing is pretty good, the characters are well distinguished from each other, the art is decent enough, and the music is honestly something I'd listen to on my own time! My main issue is that some sentences don't flow naturally. The best way to make them do that is to read what you write aloud and see if it flows in a natural way. As a writer myself, I do this all the time and it works wonders with my projects!

In conclusion, I'm definitely reading the next update of this! I'll link my video on this as well:

Looking pretty good so far! Hope more updates follow😋

Any possibility for an android version ?

(+1)

yes, i'm actually working on getting it working now, expect it in a few hours, maybe a day at most!

Already played, I love the story, the art style, and the sound. I'm looking forward to playing more.  :3

Since it wasn't mentioned on the first devlog, I'm wondering if there'll be an android version in the future

(+4)

yes! it wouldnt be optimal for android viewing since i tend to play around with the GUI for effects and such, but i want to at least make it readable and accessible for android in the future

(+2)

This is a great demo! You're really starting off strong. The characters, the world building, and the plot are all solid. The art style is also quite charming.

My main critique would be to focus on improving sentence structure. Spelling and grammar were all good, but some sentences didn't read very well. Working with an editor really helps! From one writer to another, working with editors is sooo important (that's why I work with two 😅).

I'm looking forward to seeing this project as it grows and develops. Keep up the great work 😸.

thanks so much!
this is my first time trying something like this, but thats deffo something ill look into and i hope i can improve on as time goes on!

The story has got me intrigued! looking forward to what comes next. Hats off to all the work you put into this first build, it's already looking pretty nice.

So excited to see more! Love every character so far from the first build, which is amazing!

thank you, im excited to make more!

This looks interesting, i think i will give it a go.

Is this going to have branching choices or is it pretty much linear? I noticed the few choices that are there already don't actually change much.

it's going to be mostly linear with different endings planned later on
